Yesterday was a monumental day for the Lifferth clan: Daren gave his Homecoming address. Ryan gave his Farewell address. Daren served in the Massachussetts Boston Mission and Ryan will serve in the California San Fernando Spanish Speaking mission. They both gave impressive talks. I am in awe with how incredible my brothers are. Daren worked faithfully in Boston - and we all know Ryan will work wonders in California. He is so well prepared. He is an excellent example of what the church refers to "raising the bar" in missionaries. He leaves Wednesday for the MTC. Good luck Ryan - your humor, laugh and love will be missed. But we are so happy for you and your desire to serve a mission. Work harder than you have ever worked , pray harder than you have ever prayed and come home in two years with NO REGRETS!!! WE LOVE YOU!

Karalee and I - my FAVORITE sister-in-law. I can say that because she is my ONLY sister-in-law. For now anyway! :-)
Daren, Grandma, Grandpa and Ryan. They were nice enough to come - even though their poor car (and poor wallet) suffered greatly in Elko. The transmission blew! It was fun to spend time with them.

That is so exciting that Darren is home and happy, yet sad that Ryan is leaving! It would almost seem that you could adjust w/ having a brother gone all the time since they have pretty much served consecutively, but I'm sure it is hard every time! Sorry we couldn't make it up there-we were going to and then we found out it was Treyton's Primary program and he had to do a part! Good luck sending Ryan off-and then no more missionaries until Jake is grown!

Goodbye Ryan!!! Ryan you will love the San Fernando area! I know we did when we lived there! The church is pretty strong there so hopefully you will have a lot of help. (Jen if you could pass what I just said to Ryan...who knows if he'll actually read this) :-)
I'm sorry that I missed the meeting. I also heard that it was great.

It was a great meeting and of coarse, the after party was wonderful. You guys always have great food! It was good to see you. I wish that I could have visited with you more - darn those callings.
